Our one year on Catalina Island!

We had such an amazing time on Catalina Island this weekend! It was a bit cold (more like freezing) but it was soo much fun and we are now obsessed with Catalina and want to go back soon and buy a place there one day haha. I can't believe it's been a year!!!

This past week has been kind of a drag. It's been raining and gloomy and I was sick and blah blah blah. Yeah, it's been one of those weeks. Throughout the week, I found all these cute little pictures with cute little sayings to get me through such a blah week! Okay, so it really wasn't a bad week, I mean I did book another job this morning for a little segment on Access Hollywood which was kinda fun. I think I have just been soooo anxious to go on our anniversary trip that the week went by super slow and all I wanted was for it to be Thursday the 24th! Well guess whatttt!!! Tomorrow is THE DAY!!! Adam and I are off on our weekend getaway to Catalina Island to celebrate our one year! I know, not too exciting for all of youuu, but we are stoked and literally cannot wait to be on the boat tomorrow morning! We are going to do so many fun things and I can't wait to show you some fun pictures and video of our little vacation! Anyways, I need to sleep so I can wake up early tomorrow but I promise I will post as soon as we get back! Oh and here are the little pictures I found. They get me through the bad days haha. WEDDINGS!

Okay, so I would like to start off by saying that I absolutely ADORE weddings! I love them. I think they are amazing and incredible and they make me want to cry cause everyone is always just so happy at them. But...in preparing for my own, (Adam and I will be sealed in the temple in May, yes I am well aware that we have already been married for a year but it is a big deal for us so we are having a reception!) I have discovered why people go crazy getting ready for the big day. 

I am probably the most indecisive person you will ever meet. No it is not that I am picky. In fact, I am quite the opposite. I just usually love everything and can't make up my mind on what I really want. It also doesn't help that Adam is the same way. Soo pretty much we have back and forth conversations about our wedding that usually end in "I really don't care, either one would be great!" which doesn't work out too well... Luckily, we have really good friends and family members who are much better at deciding things and therefore, we are making some headway with the plans. I have been searching for some ideas for our big day and so far have just found adorable pictures such as these...

Ah, aren't these all just to die for!? I know, the Louboutin's are probably a little bit over kill but that doesn't take away from how much I wish I could have them. And those cuffs, holy crap!!! I want them now! Okayyy now I'm just rambling so I will stop haha. Can't wait to show you pictures of our actual wedding reception! Ah I want it to be NOW!!! I guess I will just have to wait till May and be satisfied with the planning! xoxo

Oh the joys of my life!

Today I woke up not feeling so swell. I know. Poor me. Anyways, I didn't do a whole lot during the day except I experimented with making mini egg white frittatas. I had never made these before so I wasn't really sure what I was doing or what to expect. I took some step by step pictures just in case they turned out to be pretty tasty. Which they did! Yay for me! Okay now I know for those of you who have made them before, you are thinking, wow those are like the easiest things to make and well now I would have to agree with you. But before I made them, I was kind of intimidated by their name or something. Anywaysss, here are the pictures I took. I know they aren't very creative so don't judge me.

Also, tonight Adam and I went to the opening night of Rock of Ages at the Pantages! It was really fun and we loved the 80's music. Go check it out if you are into that kind of stuff. You won't be disappointed with it! Hope you all had a great day! xoxo <3

OUR Valentine's Day!

So, today was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's Day with my luv-uh luv-uh! We made banana waffles for brunch (since Adam had to work this morning) and then made chicken marsala for dinner. It was DELICIOUS! We also got to watch one of my favorite movies, Life As We Know It, cause it finally arrived in the mail and took a nice long nap (which was probably our favorite part of the day haha). Anyways, here are some pictures and a video Adam made of us cooking and such! Thanks sweetheart for loving me sooo much and for being my eternal companion! <3

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I'm so excited for today! This is mine and Adam's first Valentine's day since we have been married! I can't believe that in 11 days we will have been married for a year. So crazy! I am so blessed to be married to my best friend and honestly could not have found someone more perfect for me. I hope that you all have an amazing day as well and remember to tell all your loved ones just how much you love them!!! <3

Adam's Basketball Game!

So yesterday I finally went with Adam to watch him play in our church basketball league. It was really fun and Adam killed it!!! I was so proud! (Even though his team ended up losing) I took some pictures while I was there with my hipstamatic and thought I would share!

 

Haha I just love the last one! It's the perfect picture of Adam! Always happy, even after losing a game! Anywaysss... that's really all we did yesterday but I'm super duper excited for Valentine's Day tomorrow! I'm making a yummy breakfast AND dinner so I will post some pictures of the end result.
