I know it's not my birthday yet. But it will be on Monday. Adam being the best hubby, gave me my present a couple days early so that we could take it on our little getaway this weekend. Daytime Emmy's Weekend

This weekend was so much fun! We have been in Vegas for the Daytime Emmy's and have had such an amazing time at the pre party, award show and after parties! Here are a couple pictures from the B&B cocktail party on Saturday night!

Banana Cinnamon Muffins!

So last week, Adam and I bought a bunch of produce. Of course, we ended up eating out pretty much every meal because it was just that kind of week! But the point of this little back story is that we bought a bunch of bananas and we didn't end up eating them and so they turned brown. I actually love it when bananas go bad because I have an obsession with banana bread! Usually I would have made banana bread but I was in the mood to try out one of the recipes I found on other blogs. So I decided to make Banana Cinnamon Muffins!

 I have to tell you guys...these pretty much taste like banana bread but in a muffin form. Which I absolutely loved because they were a perfect little snack (only 150 calories) and they were great for when you are running out the door! I suggest you guys make these! They are super easy and taste mighty delicious!!!

Banana Cinnamon Muffins

Found On: The Pastry Affair

 

Yields 12 standard size muffins

1.) 1/3 cup unsalted butter, room temperature 
1/3 cup sugar 
1 large egg 
4 over-ripe bananas, mashed 
1/4 cup milk (I used almond milk) 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1 1/2 cups flour 
1 teaspoon baking soda 
1 teaspoon baking powder 
1 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2.)Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a muffin tin or line with baking cups.
3.)In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and continue to beat. Mix in the mashed banana. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
4.)In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just blended. 

5.)Spoon the batter evenly between the muffin cups and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
6.)Serve warm, with a small pat of butter, or at room temperature.

Happy National Best Friends Day!!!

I was just informed that it's national best friends day and I just had to do a little shout out to all my besties out there! I love you all more than anything and o honestly don't know where I would be without you all in my life! In a way, you all have helped me become who I am today...and since I'm pretty awesome you guys should be so proud!!! Haha only kidding of course but here are my best friends (in no certain order, so don't get upset :))

I'll start off with my eternal companion because..well he is my best friend and puts up with me daily anddd I absolutely love him dearly anddd he is my everything! Love you sweetheart :)

Next I'll go with my family...whom I don't have a picture with altogether. Sad I know but I can't seem to find one at the moment. But you guys know how much I love you. I mean we are stuck together for eternity so it's a good thing we all like eachother! :)

Adam Gregory Guest Post #1!!

Hello all you Sheri-FANS!! (she hates it when I say that). Anyway, I know she posted a tid bit about going to Zion National Park and a few photos, but I happened to be taking a lot footage and wanted to make a video. So I did!!! I know it's been a long time coming, but in my defense: we just had a wedding reception/ sealing, I work everyday on The Bold and the Beautiful (shameless plug) AND we've been in Arizona hitting up waterparks. Long story short. I LOVE hiking almost as much as i love my wife (Sheridan)! Cool backstory (sorry, I have ADD)....one of our first dates was a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. This is where I knew she was a keeper. First, I drove her in my beat up 88' Toyota Celica GT Convertible (no A/C and blazing hot outside) and then, not only did we have one of the longest hikes, she actually kept up and didn't complain...she said she enjoyed it!! I don't know where you're from but I knew we'd be best friends for life (cause, that's what your spouse IS)!
Before I got sidetracked...Oh yeah, Zion! It was a beautiful day strapped to a 20 pound toddler drooling down my chest and back ha (you'll see). I'm definitely looking forward to going back when it's our child strapped to me like a vomit and poop bomb! Sidetracked again...dang! Well I'll just let the video speak for itself. Enjoy!

Marshmallow Shooterrr!!!

Yesterday my sister was working so we had our three year old niece Andelyn! Let's just say that Adam and I pretty much made her life! In her words, it was "THE BEST DAY EVER!" Haha we might just have the cutest niece in the world. Yeah I know, I'm biased!

Well anyways...we played all day long and finally got some marshmallows to play with her little marshmallow shooter. She was in heaven and I don't think I've seen her so excited over something! Here, just see for yourself...

The Price Is Right!

Hello loves! Sorry it's been quite a few days since I've posted but Adam and I were in Arizona. Which surprisingly was a BLAST! I never thought I would enjoy visiting my home town again but we sure had a great time! My dear friend Alexa has pictures of our trip so I'm waiting to do a post on that until I get them! (Ahem Aleskie, if you're reading this, it would be greatly appreciated if you would send those :))

Well back to what I was originally going to talk about...Oh yeah, The Price Is Right! Adam was on it today as part of one of the showcases so I went with him for moral support, of course. It was a fun time. Got to meet Drew Carey who is a super nice guy and pretty much just hung out backstage the whole time! You all should tune in on June 20th to see my handsome hubby doin his thing! He seriously is the cutest guy in the universe! Love you sweetheart!
