I'm back! &&& the Directors Guild Awards!

Hello Darlings! It's been a while. Good news though, I'm back!!! This year I'm going to blog a lot more. It might be random..but I think you all will enjoy! For the first post back, I think I'll start with what Adam & I did last night...

Last night we were lucky enough to attend the Director's Guild Awards. It honestly was one of the coolest things either of us has ever been to! I've always wondered what it would be like to go to an award show like that. Where they feed you dinner & everything at your table before the show starts. Ya know, just all that jazz you see on tv? Well, it turns out it was just as cool as I thought it would be! Now, I'm not all up to speed on my directors...But it was still so awesome! Not to mention that I was in the same room as George Clooney & Jen Aniston. No...unfortunately I didn't get to meet them. But I still thought it was cool to see them sitting at their tables! & yes, they both are just as gorgeous in real life :) Back to the point of the night though. There were so many talented people there. I sometimes forget about the people who are behind the camera. I know that sounds awful..but I just do! Well after last night, I have sooooo much respect for them that I will no longer forget. Nope, not anymore!

Okay, so now on to the fun stuff...getting ready for the show! We flew my bestest friend Amber in to do my hair (she ended up helping with my makeup too!) I could not have been happier with the way she styled it!

 We first attempted a sock bun but.... It was a total fail! Hahah seriously hilarious. Turns out that I have a tiny head & that normal sized buns look 2x the size on me! We were seriously dying. I looked like a pin head. So embarrassing but there is nothing I can do about it so stop judging!
